Transcript of “Jenny Delivers”
Attorney General Bob Ferguson: Hi — my name is Bob Ferguson. Today I’m proud to announce my endorsement for our next Mayor of the great city of Seattle, Jenny Durkan.
As United States Attorney, Jenny held financial interest and other powerful interests who weren’t playing by the rules accountable.
Jenny’s worked hard to protect our environment by taking on dangerous polluters.
She’s protected our community by taking on the opioid crisis. And she’s worked hard to remove illegal guns from our streets.
Jenny will be the partner we need to protect Seattle and our state from President Trump and his administration.
While my office was working hard to file the brief to take on the Trump administration and challenge the Muslim ban, Jenny was down at SeaTac airport seeking court orders to protect travelers.
As mayor, Jenny will deliver on our progressive values. From immediately addressing our housing crisis to helping our homeless neighbors move into shelters, join me in supporting Jenny Durkan as the next mayor of Seattle. We need Jenny now.
