Jenny Durkan Launches First TV Ad Highlighting Her Plan to Deliver on Affordability Crisis

Seattle — Jenny for Seattle today launched its first TV ad — “Now” — to continue making former U.S. Attorney Jenny Durkan’s case to voters about her plans to deliver immediate and urgent action on Seattle’s affordability crisis.

The ad highlights Durkan’s detailed plan to provide more access to affordable housing and shelter – rental vouchers to provide immediate support to keep families and individuals in their homes; 700 additional beds in emergency shelters; and 1,000 new micro-houses in her first year as Mayor to move people out of encampments and off our streets.

This new ad is airing on broadcast and cable and follows her four web ads including “Jenny Delivers,” “Very Jenny,” “More Housing Now” and “Seattle Promise.” Unlike her opponent who is funding her campaign with money that she made selling out American workers to a foreign company, Durkan is relying on the support of more than 3,400 individuals.
